RUGMATAG 1st Anniversary Greetings
We at RUGMATAG celebrated our 1st anniversary today, March 13, 2023.
When we started tufting, there was no information in Japanese, and it was very difficult to get the equipment and materials.After experiencing trial and error without knowing how to do it, we realized, ``I wish there was a tufting shop like this.'' Let's give it shape was the reason I started the shop.
Since I started the shop, there have been many difficult days than I imagined, but it has also been a year of many happy things.
I feel that RUGMATAG has been made possible by the warm support of many people, including the feedback from customers who participated in the workshop that it was fun, and customers who purchased in-store and online. I am.
We were also very happy and encouraged that we had more customers come from far away than we expected, from as far north as Hokkaido to as far south as Okinawa.
And thanks to all the staff working at RUGMATAG, we were able to safely celebrate our 1st anniversary.
Thank you very much everyone.
Although we started out as self-taught people, we have received support from people at rug companies and are learning more about rugs every day.
I would like to share with everyone the fun and charm of tufting, as well as the knowledge and history of Japanese rugs.
