RUGMATAG has started selling yarn for tufting so that you can enjoy home tufting even more.
In Japan, many people who enjoy home tufting often use handicraft yarn instead. However, since craft yarn is not optimized for tufting, we have received many complaints that the yarn is difficult to break.
Therefore, we have started selling wool yarn suitable for tufting with the AK-1 (and other AK series) used in our workshop.
The thickness of the yarn is close to what is said to be a standard average thickness, so we recommend using 2 yarns for AK-1.
It is sold in cones of 500g each, so if you want to make two cones of the same color, please purchase two cones, or purchase the Tamamaki machine together and separate the amount you need. (* 250g cones are also available in some colors. Please note that 250g cones are only available in stock.)
