butterfly
Creator: chris (produced in 2023)
The body is made up of four pieces, one on the front and one on the back, and wire is inserted inside to give the form a soft movement.
I used AK-1 (10mm/16mm) to create differences in height, and used a hand embroidery tool to stitch in fancy yarn in some areas to add a playful touch to the texture. -

marine plants

This piece was created with the image of a fantastical ocean floor whose color changes depending on the light, and swaying marine plants.
The three-dimensional plant parts are made by inserting wire into knitted yarn. -

The iconic openwork design is expressed through carving, and the warmth of wool gives it a texture reminiscent of wood carving. -

KAKEJIKU – Hanging scroll
Material: Acrylic 100% (MB210)

FUSUMA – sliding doors
Creator: chris (2024 works)
The familiar scenery of Japanese living spaces is expressed through the texture of wool.
In addition, by varying the length of the pile on the left and right sides, depth and three-dimensionality are added to the pattern. -
