~Imagine yourself back in elementary school summer vacation...Art Challenge Contest for Adults!~
The last ONLINE TUFTING CONTEST was our first attempt at setting a theme, and we would like to thank everyone who participated!
RUGMATAG will once again be holding an online contest entitled SUMMER TUFTING CONTEST from July 29th to September 15th, where participants can present their tufting creations and improve their skills.
There is no theme this time, and you can use any yarn you like!

— Participation Prize —
All participants will receive a 1,000 yen off coupon (※1) that can be used at the RUGMATAG online store!
— Creative Rag Award —
The participant who submits the most creative work chosen by RUGMATAG will receive a tufting gun (※2) as a gift!
— Best Performance Award —
During the contest period, the person who gets the most likes on the story shared on our account will win a tufting gun (※2)!

Choose one from AK-1 10mm, 16mm, or AK-2 (three colors available)
■ Entry qualifications
- The work must have used tufting techniques in some part.
・Your Instagram account is not private.
■ Number of applications
1 post (multiple photos can be posted in one post)

Post the work you create as a regular Instagram post.
1. Tag your photo with @rugmatag (please tag the photo, not the caption)
② Include the name of the work, a description of the work, and the yarn used in the caption
③Add the hashtag #rugmatag_stc2024

⚠️Please note
① You cannot participate if you only post videos or reels. You must post regular still images.
② Derivative works or designs that are copyrighted by a third party will not be accepted.
(For example, designs with brand logos or characters are not eligible to participate.)
The post will be shared on our store's story and saved to our highlights.
[Participation Benefits Confirmation Items]
*1: About the 1,000 yen off coupon
①This coupon can only be used for purchases of 10,000 yen or more (tax included). Limit one use per person.
②We will send you a coupon code via direct mail within one week of your entry (post).
③Can be used from the date of issue until the end of February 2025.
*2: About the tufting gun
① Choose one of three types: AK-1 Cut Pile Tufting Gun (10mm, 16mm) or AK2 Loop Pile Tufting Gun.
②You can choose from three colors: clear, yellow, and blue.
③ After the results are announced on September 30th, we will ask the winners of the Creative Rug Award and Best Performance Award via Instagram DM which tufting gun they would like.
④The number of likes will be counted cumulatively up to September 25th .
