The shop on the 4th floor sells the equipment and materials necessary for tufting.

You can actually see and touch tufting guns and yarn, and you can purchase products by consulting with the staff.

There are many sample rugs in the store, and you can see the freedom of expression in tufting.

In addition to one-day workshops, the studio on the fifth floor also holds two-day home tufting master courses where you can learn more thoroughly.

OUR PROFILE

RUGMATAG was established in November 2021 as the first tufting studio in Western Japan.
In March 2022, we will open a tufting specialty store in Morinomiya, Osaka, which will be a rare tufting shop and studio on a global scale.
With the cooperation of several long-established rug companies in Japan, we offer a wide range of tufting suggestions, from tufting to create authentic rugs to tufting as art.

Additionally, they are engaged in a wide range of activities, including producing decorative items for major department stores, collaborating with artists and brands, and even exhibiting their works at tufting art exhibitions overseas.
We also focus on supporting tufting artists and hosting tufting contests, as well as working to spread the appeal of tufting.

The origin of the store's name, "RUGMATAG," came from an experience when the owner felt it was too precious to step on the first rug he made, and ended up stepping over it.
It is filled with our desire to share the excitement and joy of that moment with all our customers.
