At RUGMATAG, we use rug yarns and materials that are also used in rug factories, and our dedicated staff will provide you with thorough support.
All courses are easy to participate in, even if you are new to tufting.

There are four courses to choose from depending on your purpose, from a mini rug course that takes about two hours to an original rug course that takes about five hours, to chair rugs, art rugs, and basic lessons on home tufting.

  • Can I participate even if I'm new to tufting?

    A. Yes, most of the participants have no experience with tufting.
    Our staff, who specialize in tufting, will support you from start to finish, so even first-timers can enjoy the experience with peace of mind!

  • Is it okay to participate alone?

    A. Of course. Many people participate alone, and this is a small-group workshop that is recommended for those who want to concentrate on their work.
    Don't worry about having to invite someone, feel free to join us even if you're alone!

  • Can I take my work home on the day?

    A. Generally, the backside will be glued and finished at the studio, so the finished product will be delivered to your home at a later date.
    The timing of take-home for the Home Tufting Start Course varies between the 1-day and 2-day courses, so please check the details page for each course for more information.
