[Let's try making something with tufting! #3] Hair accessories

"Tufting isn't just for rugs."
This is a series that introduces new ways to enjoy tufting that have emerged from such discoveries.

The appeal of tufting is that, depending on your ideas, you can easily create everything from interior decor items to practical items.
This time, we have compiled information on the yarn, tools, and sizes used based on items actually made by our staff.

You may find designs that blend seamlessly into your life, or inspiration that will make you want to try making one yourself.
"I didn't know I could make items like this," "I wonder if I should try a design like this next time."
I hope this will inspire your creative spirit.

This time I tried making hair accessories!
Create your own original design with large hair clips and snap pins using tufting!

With tufting, you can freely design your favorite colors, shapes, and patterns, so you can create your own unique hair accessories that aren't available commercially!
It also makes a great fashion accent, making it perfect for matching outfits or as a gift.

Here's what the tufting hair clips actually look like when worn in hair. The blue and purple clips add an accent to the hairstyle.A comparison of the finished tufting hair clip and a regular hair clip.

Be sure to save it and give it a try!

Three types of tufting hair clips lined up. They feature colorful yarn textures.

The appeal of tufting is the freedom to create

This time it was a hair accessory, but the best part of tufting is that you can freely decide the shape, color, and design.

"It would be convenient if I had something like this" "It would be cute if I got all these colors"
With tufting, you can give shape to even the smallest of ideas with your own hands.

As I choose the color and the texture and move my hands,
Before you know it, you'll have your own favorites.

RUGMATAG will continue to introduce fun and easy tufting design ideas and manufacturing tips on our blog.

Please look forward to the next update!
