Places that pets and children cannot access
Even adults can be injured if they accidentally drop a tufting gun.
Also, when you insert the yarn, it generates hair lint. A separate room such as a work room is preferable as there is a possibility that small children or beloved pets may inhale it.
A place with good soundproofing (or a place where loud noises can be tolerated)
When using the tufting gun, there will be some noise (about 80-90db). Please be considerate as you may cause trouble to those around you. I think you can use it without any problems if you use it during the day.
The issue of location needs to be resolved depending on where you live or the studio you are renting, but what is surprisingly difficult may be ``fully fixed'' and ``just the right height.''
How to fully secure the frame?
There are several ways to completely fix the tufting frame (prevent it from moving). Either you install it on a desk fixed to the floor, you install a frame with the desk close to the wall, or the desk itself is heavy.
Recommended desk for home tufting
Heavy desks are hard to sell. Even if they are sold, they are often quite expensive. There are very few households that have a desk fixed to the floor. Also, placing the desk close to the wall may be a layout issue or cause vibrations from the wall. Therefore, we recommend a desk with a lift function. Desks that can be raised and lowered have become popular recently, but in general, they can be adjusted to suit your sitting height to make remote work at home more comfortable, or you can work on your PC while standing to prevent sitting. It's a convenient desk. In fact, a desk with a lift function is very suitable for setting up a frame for home tufting.
First of all, it's quite heavy. It depends on the item, but desks with a lift function are often very heavy, either to ensure stability or because they have machinery attached to them. Therefore, it is easy to stabilize when you install the tufting frame and perform tufting. It also has a lift function, so you can change the height freely. Of course you want to match your height, but depending on where you are hitting, it may be difficult to hit even if you match your height. It is very easy to hit the ball lower when hitting the upper part and raising it when hitting the lower part.
