About how colors appear
*The actual color may look different from what you see on the display of your device.
*Even for the same color, there may be a color variation of about ±5% depending on the season.
*The color will be darker after the thread is sewn into the fabric than when it is wrapped around the cone. (The images below are of each color sewn into the fabric.)
Usage Guidelines
Using a tufting gun (AK-1, etc.) and tufting two strands into the tufting cloth will result in a rug with a luxurious texture. The finished product will vary depending on various factors such as the individual tufting gun, the length of the pile, the spacing between the yarns, and the speed at which the tufting gun is moved. Please try out various patterns yourself and enjoy making the ultimate, one-of-a-kind rug.
*We recommend spacing the yarn closely together, as the yarn will stand up when sewn in. Please note that if the spacing is too wide, the gaps will be noticeable.
The difference between acrylic yarn for crafts and wool yarn for rugs
- Wool yarn is durable and does not easily fall apart.
- It is possible to create a sturdy, practical rug that will not wear out no matter how many times it is stepped on.
- The texture of the rug is also heavier and more solid than acrylic yarn used for crafts.
- Wool yarn has a subdued color, so it blends in well with the interior.
