【タフティングでつくってみよう!♯9】はじめての作品はこれ!円形チェアマット

[Let's Make Something with Tufting! #9] This is the first project! A circular chair mat

Hello!
My name is Chris and I am the manager of RUGMATAG, a tufting specialty store in Osaka .

"I started tufting, but I don't know what to make next..."

The first thing we would recommend to such people is a 35cm circular chair mat !

Why chair mats are recommended

The size is just right ( not too big and easy to try) )

It can be used immediately after completion (it can also be used to store small items!)

Great for practice and real life (great for practicing straight lines and curves)

It has a simple two-color design,

Please try it with your favorite color!

What was used

・Tufting gun: AK-1 (cut pile 16mm)

・Yarn required for a 35cm circle: approx. 200g

The yarns sold at Ragma Tag are

Soft acrylic (200g)

MB210 acrylic (250g)

Wool (500g)

All of them are over 200g each
If you're using a single color, you can create it with just one bottle of each!

Recommended yarn for beginners

For beginners and those still practicing
I recommend the easiest soft acrylic yarn .

▶︎See Soft Acrylic Yarn Colors

It has a soft and fluffy finish and is reasonably priced.

This set is useful for everything except the yarn!

For materials other than yarn, we recommend this place where you can get them all in one place.

▶︎Tufting 3-piece set of materials

(Base fabric + lining + adhesive)

This set includes

・Tufting cloth ・Anti-mite adhesive
・Mesh lining

It is packed together.

Once you have all the yarn, you can start making it right away!

summary

If you're wondering, "What should I make first?"

Why not start by trying out this easy-to-make and practical chair mat ?
