Tufting technology, carefully taught from the basics
This is a two-day intensive course for beginners and experienced rug makers alike. In a small group setting (maximum two people), we will carefully teach you everything from the basics to advanced tufting. You will acquire the correct techniques and knowledge, and be able to smoothly start making rugs at home. For a fee of 44,000 yen (including materials and tools), you will acquire solid techniques through the practical production of two types of rugs.

Production
Using the template designs provided by our store, you will be guided by our experts to create two original rugs:

Gradient Rug
- Size: 35cm (semicircular)
- Material: 5 strands of acrylic yarn for rugs
- Features: Three-color gradation
- Choose from 3 colors out of 60 available

Lettering Rug
- Size: 25cm x 25cm (square)
- Material: Wool rug yarn (2 strands)
- Features: Three-dimensional finish of one alphabet or number
- Choose from your favorite colors
Help getting started with home tufting
After taking the master course, you can purchase the necessary equipment and materials at the shop on the 4th floor of our store. Our expert staff will help you choose the best items to suit your individual purposes and budget.
We also respond to any questions or problems you may have after taking the course. If you are worried about creating at home, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Event Information
- Location : RK Building 5F, 1-11-18 Morinomiya Chuo, Chuo-ku, Osaka
- Access : 3-4 minutes on foot from JR Morinomiya Station (North Exit) or Subway Morinomiya Station (Exit 7-A/B)
- Capacity : Maximum 2 people per day

Frequency : Once or twice a month (depending on instructor and space availability)
- The event schedule is published two months in advance at the end of each month.

- Day 2: 11:00-15:00 (ends when work is completed)

Please note :
- Please arrive 5 minutes before the start
- Please come after having lunch.
- Light snacks (with low odor) are permitted during short breaks.
- Please bring your own drinks
- On the second day, we recommend wearing a mask as we will be trimming the fur.
- Please wear comfortable clothing (the tufting gun weighs approximately 1.4 kg, so you may feel fatigued from light exercise)
- You can take home the two rugs you made at the end of the second day.
- Coupons are not applicable for second and subsequent workshops.
Reservation process
- Select the first day of your desired date, make a reservation and make a payment
- On the day, please come to the store 5 minutes before the start time (11:00)
- First day of classes begins
- The next day, the second day of class

Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I participate alone?
A: Of course you can. In fact, many customers participate alone. Since the group size is limited to two people, you can also participate as a pair.
Q: Are there any breaks?
A: Depending on the progress, we will have several short breaks of about 5 to 10 minutes during which you can have a light snack (without a strong smell).
Q: Can I use my own tufting gun?
A: Yes, you can participate with your own equipment. Please bring it with you on the day. However, if there is a malfunction, we may ask you to use our equipment.
Q: What colors can I choose from?
A: This course uses two types of yarn: wool and acrylic. You can choose your favorite color from 48 colors for wool and 60 colors for acrylic.
Q: Can two or three people work together to create one rug?
A: Unfortunately, in order for this course to ensure you master the basics, you will need to complete all steps by yourself.
Q: What kind of rugs can you make?
A: Please choose your favorite colors from the design templates we have prepared and we will create two rugs. The first one is a gradation rug using 5 strands of acrylic yarn, and the second one is a lettering rug using 2 strands of wool yarn.
