A two-day course where you can learn the basic steps required for home tufting

This course is for those who want to start tufting on their own, or for those who are currently tufting but want to refresh their knowledge of the basics.

The maximum capacity is two people per session.
Depending on the reservation situation, the event may be held with only one person.

② Upholstery

Learn how to upholster fabric correctly

③Design production and projector transfer

・Design production procedure

・Precautions and tips for projector transfer

④Practice tufting with a tufting gun

・Practice hitting with AK-1

Practice drawing lines and learn how the finish differs depending on how tight the stitches are

Choose from two designs prepared by our store in your favorite color

- Gradient 5-strand acrylic yarn for rugs (3 colors)

Size: 35cm semicircle

・Carved lettering using two strands of wool yarn for rugs (one letter or one number)

Size: 25 x 25 cm square

After the experience, you can purchase the equipment and materials necessary for home tufting at the shop on the 4th floor. We can provide support and advice that only a tufting specialist like RUGMATAG can provide.

[Can even one person participate? ]
This course can only be booked one-on-one or as a pair for up to 2 people, so please join us with confidence.
[How many colors are there? ]
This course uses two types of yarn: wool and acrylic. You can choose from 48 colors for wool and 60 colors for acrylic.
[Can 2-3 people work together to create one rug?] ]
very sorry. This course is for you to thoroughly master the basics, so you will need to complete all steps by yourself.
[What kind of rugs can you make?] ]
Choose your favorite color using the template design prepared in our store, and create a gradation (3 colors) using 5 acrylic yarns and a carving finish (1 alphabet or number) with lettering using 2 rug wool yarns. Please make two copies.

めっちゃ勉強になりました！

ラグマタグさんで初めてガンを購入した際に、使い方を見せていただいて、あとはyoutubeなどを参考に、見様見真似でとにかく数をこなしておりました。
そんな、あってるんかようわからん手探りの状態からレベルアップするためにマスターコースを受講。
座学からはじまり、メンテナンス方法、布の張り方、打ち込み方、一つ一つを丁寧に教えていただき、これは実際体験しなわからんわ！と驚くことがいっぱいでした。
今までの制作で困ったことも相談に乗ってくれたり、便利アイテム教えていただいたりもして、あっという間の二日間でした。
とにかく優しくて、めっちゃ褒めてくれはるし、技術も本当に素晴らしいです。
これからもタフティング楽しんでいきたいです。

前回ガンのメンテナンス講習も受講させていただいたので今までよりもタフティングを理解した上で楽しめています！

RUGMATAG tufting workshop
