This Home Tufting Starter Course was created for people like you .

We will carefully teach you each of the basic steps essential to rug making, from upholstery to finishing.

Choose your favorite design and color from the chair rug size template (approximately 35 x 35 cm) and create your own rug!

・Even if you don't have any tools, it's okay

・Recommended for those who are struggling with self-study

This is the perfect course for both your first steps and a fresh start to improve your skills.

What you'll learn

How to stretch tufting cloth (upholstery)

The base fabric is stretched and fixed onto the wooden frame.

Transfer method

A star-shaped design is sketched on the base fabric using a ruler and pen.

Basic operation and hammering of tufting gun

A yellow star-shaped rug is being tufted in with a tufting gun.

 How to apply adhesive

White glue is applied evenly to the back of the star-shaped rug with a spatula.

Surface and back finishing techniques

The excess base fabric on the back of the flower-shaped tufting rug is being cut off with scissors.

The light blue floral rug is cut flat with clippers.

You can choose from two types of lesson styles

[One-day course]
 \Recommended for those who live far away or find it difficult to take consecutive holidays/
 Time: 11:00-18:00 (7 hours/no break)
Course fee: 38,000 yen (tax included)

Contents:
 The finished rug will be glued on the day, left to dry in the studio, and then delivered to your home at a later date.

On the day, you will be able to experience the finishing process using a plain, dried rug ( 25x25cm ) that we have prepared (you can take the finished rug home with you !).

The blue-green tufting work is finished by cutting it with clippers.

When you receive your unfinished rug, feel free to use it as a review of the finishing process.

The back of this tufted rug features a leaf pattern and has been backed.

[2-day course]
 \For those who want to finish the rug with their own hands/

time:
Day 1 | 11:00-16:00
Day 2 | 11:00-13:00 (total 7 hours / no break)

Course fee: 42,000 yen (tax included)

Contents:
 The first day is spent applying the adhesive, and the second day is spent finishing the front and back of the rug.

The light blue floral rug is cut flat with clippers.

You can take home the rug you made at the end of the second day.

About the rugs we will be making

Yarn used: MB210 tufting acrylic yarn ( 60 colors)

A color chart made by tufting 60 yarn samples

Design: Choose from 10 templates (chair rug size) Approximately 35×35cm )

There are tufted rugs on display in a variety of shapes and patterns, including stars and flowers.

Finish: Lining mesh/raw cut finish

The non-slip mesh backing can be seen on the underside of the flower-shaped rug.

    Q: Can I participate alone?
     → Of course! Many customers actually come to our workshops alone. Please feel free to join us.

    Q: What age can I participate?
     → This activity is for first-year junior high school students and above. For safety reasons, children in the sixth grade of elementary school and below are not permitted to participate.

    Q: Can two or three people work together to create one rug?
     →We are sorry, but in order for this course to teach you the basics thoroughly, you will need to carry out all steps by yourself.

    Q: Can I take a tour?
    → Due to space limitations, only those with reservations are allowed in .

    Q: Is it okay to take photos and videos?
     → You can take photos of the production process! We also have smartphone stands available for rent, so feel free to use them for social media or commemorative photos!
