  In addition to smooth operation, the pile length can be adjusted from approximately 4mm to 9mm. Its quiet operation allows you to concentrate on your work. Yarn that can be used with AK-2

The AK-2 Loop Pile Tufting Gun allows you to create rugs with a looped surface. Using our wool yarn or 4-6 strand acrylic yarn (MB210) will allow you to create different looks and textures than with the soft acrylic yarn included in the set.

A. Based on the inner dimensions of the frame, we can produce up to approximately 82 x 82 cm.

Q. Are tufting guns noisy?

A. The AK-1 cut pile tufting gun produces about 70-80dB, which is about the same as a medium to high volume vacuum cleaner or television, but the AK-2 is designed specifically for loop pile tufting and has no scissors, so it produces very quiet operation. (It is not completely silent, so we recommend using it during the day.)
