The AK-1 Cut Pile Tufting Gun allows you to create rugs with cut pile on the surface. If you use wool yarn or acrylic yarn (MB210) for 4-6 strands , which are sold in our store, you can create different expressions and enjoy different textures than with the soft acrylic yarn that comes with the set.

Our soft acrylic yarn is made of eight thin strands twisted together, resulting in a soft texture when woven. It can be used in one or two strands, and is a popular choice for its affordability and versatility. Your preferred color must be purchased separately.

Our wool yarns are characterized by their subdued colors and luxurious texture. They are suitable for double-ply weaving. Made from 100% durable Romney wool, they are ideal for practical rugs.

MB210 Acrylic Yarn Production Example

This is a high-quality acrylic yarn designed by Miyoshi Rug Co., Ltd. and produced specifically for tufting rugs. It is actually used in the rugs that Miyoshi Rug Co., Ltd. produces. Since it can be used with 4 to 6 strands, it is a yarn that makes it easy to recreate complex designs such as gradations.
